This weekend’s projects
We are moving in about 1 month and I am super excited about new projects for the new place! We are moving from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom to save some money and to downsize a little.
My first sewing project for the new place is going to be to make a slip cover for our chaise lounge. I tried to dye it from white to gray - disaster. So I decided to try and do a nice fitted slipcover in dark gray.
After that who knows: pillows, table cloths, curtains?
How does this apply to this weekend? Well I want to plan this all out - I’m a planner - maybe do some fabric shopping. Hopefully drag my husband along.
Another weekend project is to get some cheap khaki pants from the thrift store to do over for work. We have a conference each year and we have polo shirts in navy blue, white and yellow. We have to wear black or khaki pants or skirts. I don’t love khaki so i thought I would buy a cheap pair and tailor them for the trip. I already have two pairs of black pants so if I could find 2 more pairs of Khaki ones I think I would be set. Not too exciting but a good project that will hopefully save some money!
