It all started with a pair of Jeans

My mother taught me how to sew. Even before I took a Home Economics sewing class in high school I had made my own rag dolls and pillows. We always had the best dressed Barbie’s and Cabbage Patch kids on the block. My mom painstakingly made our Barbie’s velvet capes, gowns, shorts, tops, anything, name it.

I have always considered it a blessing and a curse that I have a hard time buying clothes, curtains and duvet covers because I look at it and think “I could make that!”

In my years of sewing have done just that; curtains, pants, skirts, hems, buttons, duvets. I am willing to try my hand at anything.

So where does the pair of jeans fit in? I can hem jeans without there being any evidence of a hem.  You could call this my specialty. I mentioned this one day in a conversation at work, and the word started to spread… Contact me with your project ideas and let’s see if we can work something out!
